World Languages and Cultures
Having the ability to communicate with and understand others in a global marketplace is a very unique and exceptional skill. Being able to break down language barriers to conduct business or other communications makes bilingual and multilingual individuals very important and sought-after in many different career fields.
The world languages program at Mercyhurst College provides students with the skills to develop an expertise for a language of their choice, as well as the culture, literature and history surrounding that language. With courses in 10 languages, major programs in three, and minor programs in four, in addition to education and business tracks, Mercyhurst offers one of the most varied and dynamic language programs in the region.
